The following privacy statement outlines Visitalk's information-gathering and dissemination practices and states the Company's commitment to maintaining Member privacy.

Visitalk is centered on Internet-based communications. Visitalk combines everyday functionality and easy-to-use software to facilitate PC to PC and PC to phone communications over the Internet. These services are ideal for facilitating communication in the US or anywhere in the world to communicate one to one or with family members.

Information Collected - Visitalk uses Members' IP addresses to help diagnose server problems and to administer its web site. A Member's IP address also may be used to gather broad demographic information. The Visitalk online registration form requires Members to provide contact information (such as name and email address), unique identifiers (address), and demographic information (including ZIP code and age).

• Contact information is used to communicate with Members for purposes such as gathering survey information, billing for requested value-added services, notification of service upgrades, and changes to existing services.
• Unique identifiers (such as e-mail and street addresses) are used to verify a Member's identity and to set up record system accounts.
• Demographic information may be used to tailor a Member's Visitalk user experience, such as showing content of potential interest, displaying the content according to their preferences, etc. Member age is collected before any other demographic information in order to identify users under the age of 13 and deny them the ability to complete the Visitalk registration process. Member age is also used to identify those under 18 and deny them access to certain areas of the site.

Note: A third-party financial institution will be used to process credit card orders. The only other data that Visitalk will provide to third parties is demographic data, which is provided to advertisers on an aggregate basis. Choice/Opt-Out - Visitalk offers its Members the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from Visitalk and its partners during the initial sign-up process.

As Visitalk collects demographic and psychographic data during registration, Members will be given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving Visitalk newsletters and other information, as well as third-party email offers when available. For members who agree to receive third party offers, Visitalk will send their user profile information to an outside marketing agency, who will sell these profiles to companies that deliver targeted third-party email offers. Members will have the option to discontinue receiving these third-party offers at the conclusion of every email.

If, at a later time, a Member wishes to opt-out of receiving these communications or wishes to terminate their service, they may email their request to support@visitalk.com.

Other Sites - The Visitalk site may contain links to other sites for Members' convenience. Note: these sites may have privacy policies or practices that are different from those of Visitalk. Members should familiarize themselves with the policies of those sites before providing any additional information. Visitalk is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third party web sites.

Cookies - Visitalk uses cookies to maintain session state for its Members. A Member must have cookies turned on to log on to www.visitalk.com. However, the cookies stored on a user's computer are only kept until the user closes his/her session. Furthermore, Visitalk uses external advertising companies to display ads on its site. These ads may contain cookies, which are then collected directly by the advertising companies. Visitalk has no direct control over or access to this information.

SSL encryption - Visitalk uses SSL to encrypt each Member's Permanent Communications Number (PCN) and password when logged on. SSL is also used to encrypt membership data and credit card information acquired during Member registration as well as subsequent updates to Member Profiles. Voice mail messages are encrypted using SSL as they are transferred to and from Visitalk servers. User Profile update - Visitalk Members may update or change their Member Profile information by logging in, clicking on to the Member Home.

Public Forums - The Visitalk site makes chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its Members. Please note that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information and Members should exercise caution when sharing personal information. Visitalk has no liability or responsibility for ideas expressed in these public forums.

Also, be aware that Members can save any video image broadcasted by other Members and distribute it freely. Members who want to create private chat rooms can create invitation-only rooms for their guests. However, even in private rooms, viewers can still capture the images being displayed. Adult Content - The Visitalk site may contain chat rooms and forums created by Members that feature adult, often explicit, content. Visitalk does not endorse the visitation of those areas by children under 18 years old, and denies them access with a system feature that recognizes age based on the birth date information they provided during registration. Visitalk has no liability or responsibility for Members under 18 who have gained access to adult chat rooms and forums by misrepresenting their age during registration.

Children's Guidelines - Visitalk is committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children. To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, Visitalk has chosen to collect birth date information during its Member registration process before any other personal information. Birth date information entered is immediately processed before registration can continue. If a registrant enters a birth date making them under 13, a message will appear indicating that the Visitalk service is not available to them, and they will be locked out of the registration process at that point. Anyone 13 or older can continue through registration. Visitalk will not directly target children younger than 18 years for personal information other than the minimum necessary for access to, and operation of, the particular service. In addition, Visitalk will not knowingly provide links to other sites that solicit personal information from, or pose inappropriate dangers to, children.

While Visitalk is aware of the dangers faced by children using the Internet, it has no control over the content of any communication between Members utilizing its calling services or participating in Visitalk-enabled chat rooms. Visitalk strongly urges parents to closely participate in, and supervise their children's use of, these and all Internet services, and encourages all parents to play an active role in protecting the privacy and security of their children. Visitalk has no liability or responsibility for use of Visitalk software by children. Changes to the Visitalk Privacy Statement - Members will be alerted to changes to the Visitalk Privacy Statement through notification on the web site.
